October 26, 2006 at Gathering Together Farm
On October 26th, over 50 farmers, chefs, researchers, wholesalers, processors and other organic industry representatives congregated at Gathering Together Farm in Philomath, Oregon to taste 25 potato varieties.
Steamed, chipped and fried potatoes were sampled and evaluated with the long-term goal of defining criteria for various organic markets.
